Public Bus from Quito:
- Go to Quitumbe Bus Terminal or Carcelén Bus Terminal in Quito
- Book tickets from either Transportes Esmeraldas or Cooperativa de Transportes Baños
- The cost is $18 per person per way
- The trip lasts around 9 hours, and it is an overnight trip
- Arrive at the terminal at least 1 hour in advance to book your ticket directly from the selling point of the transport company
- Once you arrive at Lago Agrio Bus Terminal, take a taxi from the bus station for $1-$2 to Hotel D’Mario, where our guide will pick you up at 9.30 am.

Once you are in Quito, you must go to one of the bus terminals in the city, either Quitumbe Bus Terminal (South of the city and with more frequencies during the day) or Carcelén Bus Terminal (North of the city). You can book your tickets directly in one of the terminals (only one way, the last day of your tour we will assist you to book the return).
We recommend you to book with one of these 2 companies: Transportes Esmeraldas (www.transesmeraldas.com) or Cooperativa de Transportes Baños (www.cooperativabanos.com). Both have modern buses, are comfortable and secure.
The cost is $18 per person and per way. The trip lasts around 9 hours, and this is a very popular option as it is an overnight trip. You must arrive at the terminal at least 1 hour in advance to book your ticket directly from the transport company’s selling point. You can have a look at their websites for more information about schedules. In order to arrive on time to Lago Agrio the next morning we recommend you to take the bus that departs just before midnight.
Once you have arrived at Lago Agrio Bus Terminal, please proceed to our meeting point which is Hotel D’Mario. You can take a taxi from the bus station for $1-$2. Our guide will pick you up from there at 9.30 am sharp.

This is a third-party service that only offers departures night. The ride will last approx. 9 hours and you will reach Lago Agrio early in the morning. From there you will be dropped off directly at our meeting point the Hotel D’Mario. Our guide will pick you up at 9.30 am sharp.
The private shuttle bus leaves from Quito city and they have 2 meeting points. The first meeting point is located at Blue House – La Floresta (Mariscal Foch e9-20) from where the bus will leave at 23H00 p.m. The second meeting point is located at The Secret Garden Hostel (Calle E4-60, Quito 170136) the bus will leave from there at 23H30 p.m. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes in advance to either of the meeting points.
The cost for this service is $20 per person (you pay in cash directly to the driver). If you are interested in this option, please let us know your preferred meeting point and we will book the seats for you.
Note:
Due to the schedule of our operation on the last day of the itinerary, we can make use of this service only to reach Lago Agrio. The return to Quito will be done by Public Transport, and we will assist you to book this.

We can arrange a private transfer (private car + driver) for you or your group. We can book a roundtrip where we will pick you up from your hotel (you can decide to travel during the day or at night) and drop you off at our meeting point in Lago Agrio.
At the end of the jungle tour we will be waiting for you to take you back.
Due to operational cost, this option is recommended for groups of at least 4 people. However, feel free to ask if you are looking for a faster, more comfortable, and more secure option. Flight from Quito to Coca + Private Transfer to Lago Agrio

This is a faster option, but you need to consider an extra day within your itinerary. You can take a flight from Quito to Coca (unfortunately the airport in Lago Agrio is out of operation). Coca is a city located approx. 2 hours south of Lago Agrio. We recommend you fly with LATAM airlines. The plane is scheduled to take off at 09H00 a.m every day and the flight lasts 50 minutes. Once you land at Coca airport, a driver will be waiting for you to take you to Lago Agrio (approx. 2 hours ride). You will arrive by midday to the city where you will have the afternoon free to relax and to get ready for your upcoming adventure. With this option you will have to book a hotel for one night in Lago Agrio. We will start the tour the next morning at 9H30 a.m.
On the last day, after your jungle tour, we will drive you back from Lago Agrio to Coca. Also, here you must book a hotel for one night in Coca. Early in the morning, you can reach the airport by yourself, or we can assist you with a transfer. From there, you fly back to Quito.
Note:
We will be happy to arrange transportation between Coca – Lago Agrio and vice versa, but we don’t arrange flights from Quito to Coca and back. Please, if you decide to take this option, let us know the exact date and time of your flight to offer you a great operation. The roundtrip from Quito to Coca can vary from $250 to $375 per person depending on the day and demand. The roundtrip from Coca to Lago Agrio can vary from $100 – $160 in total, depending on the day and number of travelers. To get an exact cost, don’t hesitate to ask.
