6-Day Enchanted Archipelago

• Board morning flight to San Cristobal Island from Quito.

• Check-in at the hotel in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and receive a brief overview of the trip.

• Head to La Loberia in the afternoon, the home beach and nursery for large Galapagos sea lions.

• Watch sea lions launch themselves over rocks and relax in the sand. Spot Darwin finches, frigate birds, and yellow warblers along the beach.

• Enjoy some free time to swim, relax on the sandy beach, and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters.

• Rise and shine for an early morning adventure to Kicker Rock, also known as the Sleeping Lion, via a speedy boat ride.

• Prepare to be awestruck by the magnificent natural formation formed by the eroded remains of a lava cone and two vertical rocks towering 500 feet above the ocean.

• Witness a vibrant array of wildlife such as tropicbirds, frigate birds, and boobies, while snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters below, where an array of colorful tropical fish and various species of sharks, including hammerhead, reef, and white tip sharks, thrive.

• After a lovely lunch, we will head to Cerro Brujo, where playful sea lions will welcome us to their island home.

• We will transfer from San Cristobal to Santa Cruz Island in the morning and check into our hotel.

• Then, we will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn more about the conservation efforts in the Galapagos Islands.

• In the afternoon, we will explore the beautiful highlands of Santa Cruz at the El Chato reserve, where we will get to see the iconic Galapagos tortoises up close.

• We will have an unforgettable experience hiking through the lush landscapes alongside these gentle giants.

• In the evening, we will return to Puerto Ayora, the bustling town of Santa Cruz, to immerse ourselves in the local culture.
